Dear friends of the Shrine,

Please receive my warm wishes in this beginning of the New Liturgical Year: the beautiful liturgy of Advent season is an expression of God\’s Peace given to the humankind. This heavenly peace is rooted first in the reception of His supernatural grace. Our hearts feel in peace when we renew or restablish the true Love of God in our souls: the main means are confession, silent Adoration, Charity.

A great news for our restoration plan! We have secured a £10,000 National Churches Trust Grant. This grant is a significant contribution to that match funding target of £40,000 by February. We have nearly done it! It means that the essential works will begin in April 2014.
Thank you National Churches Trust! Please click on \”Friends of the Shrine\” tab for further information on NCT.

The next charity shop for Ss.PPP will be open in Liscard from January 13th to January 24th
We need volunteers to help during the opening week! Contact the Shrine if you want to help.

All Wirral residents can vote online or on paper for projects to award funding to make Wirral a better place. Voting opens 13th -24th January.
Please vote to Illuminate the Dome and Repair and paint the boundary wall
Follow the link www.wirral.gov.uk/lovewirral,and encourage your friends to vote!

Be assured of my prayers, in Domino,

Do not hesitate to visit our GALLERY to see the progress of the works.

Oremus pro invicem.
