Religious items needed for new shop

Old religious books, statues and pictures wanted for new shop at The Dome of Home   A new piety shop opened this Christmas at Ss Peter, Paul and St Philomena’s Church in New Brighton this Christmas, selling new and old religious books, statues, pictures, cards, DVD’s, medals and rosaries. Staffed by volunteers, the shop is part of an Information Point for our second Restoration Project, to help visitors appreciate the heritage of the building

Canon meets the ‘Hairy Builder’

The Mayor Rides and Strides from The Dome

The Mayor of Wirral, Cllr Les Rowlands visited The Dome to help the fundraising efforts organised by John Ebo of Historic Cheshire Churches Preservation Trust. HCCPT and National Churches Trust, both funders of Ss Peter, Paul and Philomena's Restoration Projects, organise a sponsored fundraising 'Ride and Stride' event on 12th September.
