Awarding grants to support churches carrying out repairs and installating new community facilities is at the heart of the work of the Friends of the National Churches Trust. Now, Friends of the National Churches Trust can help us in this vital work by choosing a church to which we can award a special Friends Grant of £10,000. They have invited churches to whom they had awarded a Repair or Community Grant in 2016 to let us know if they needed any

Our Prayers answered once again as Shrine receives new funding

Our beautiful and beloved Shrine Church is to benefit from a funding package from the National Churches Trust, the UK’s church repair and support charity. Return of the Charity Shop

The Charity Shop will be open for business again in Liscard from the 22nd to the 26th February. Volunteers required throughout, but especially to prepare on the 19th and to dismantle on the 26th. The Mayor Rides and Strides from The Dome

The Mayor of Wirral, Cllr Les Rowlands visited The Dome to help the fundraising efforts organised by John Ebo of Historic Cheshire Churches Preservation Trust. HCCPT and National Churches Trust, both funders of Ss Peter, Paul and Philomena's Restoration Projects, organise a sponsored fundraising 'Ride and Stride' event on 12th September. Many thanks to the Young People from the 'Wallasey to Lourdes' group who came to sing carols outside our Christmas Sale last Saturday. It was a cold day but they were not deterred. Hope you raised plenty yourselves to take the sick to Lourdes on the Diocesan pilgrimage.
