Fun at Heritage Open Days

A steady flow of interested visitors were welcomed by our enthusiastic team of volunteer guides this weekend. Good job our refreshment ladies were on hand with their cups of tea. All this talking is thirsty work. Thank you all for your help! More to follow next week with tours on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon. We can't promise the dancers outside church next week though. Shame!

Home-made afternoon tea for the Mayor and Mayoress of Wirral

A big thank you to the team who worked to prepare the wonderful, home-made afternoon tea for the Mayor on Tuesday, those behind the scenes as well of those present on the day! It was a real feast. When the Mayor was presented with a beautifully decorated cake showing the Mayoral crest and silhouette of the Dome, he was loath to cut in to it. Instead, he suggested donating the cake to the volunteers who work at the Foodbank. Of course, Canon Montjean

If you can help once a month, please email or sign the rota for Wednesday morning Guided Tours. (May – Oct 2014) All your Volunteer hours count towards our match funding.
