Help required at Defibrillator familiarisation sessions

The Dome has been awarded a Public Access Defibrillator (PAD) and Call Push Rescue (CPR) training kit from British Heart Foundation with the support of North West Ambulance Service. The cabinet is now in place and NWAS is supporting an Awareness Afternoon on 15th June. The Awareness Afternoon is in two sessions (repeats) as the whole community is invited to familiarise themselves with the kit and know how to access it etc.

We are hoping local people who live nearby might come along and some people might want a quick guided tour of the church. We will need your help if possible:

  • Setting up on Wednesday morning
  • 2-3 people to serve refreshments.
  • A couple of people available to welcome visitors as Tour Guides just in case.

We hope you will all enjoy the afternoon and use it as a chance to engage more people with The Dome. Please let Anne Archer know if you can help, or just want to come along to find out about the defibrillator.
